The Phone Mason sold refurbished iPhones in New Zealand. We tested every phone, graded it honestly and backed it for 12 months.
The shop has stopped trading. We have left the whole site up, exactly as it was, so nothing is lost. Every page still works. Every product still has its photos, specs and prices. The only thing switched off is the checkout.
A buyer gets a finished shop that is already known to Google, not a blank page and a domain name. Turn the checkout back on, add stock, and you are trading.

3 buying guides, all written for search. This is the part that took the longest and is hardest to copy.
The setup work
Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, a Google Shopping feed, order and shipping emails, and the search work already done. Years of small jobs, finished.

Anyone can buy a domain and put up a shop. What takes years is getting Google to trust it. This site has that already, and it keeps it for as long as the pages stay up.
That is why we have not taken the site down. Every page still answers when Google comes looking. A new owner picks up where we left off instead of starting at nothing.
